If you have spent most of your life feeling like everyone else got a handbook for being human that somehow skipped you, welcome. If you are exhausted from masking, from constantly overthinking, or from trying to make sense of emotions that feel bigger than words, you are in the right place.
Artemis is an intern therapist who works with neurodivergent adults, particularly people with ADHD, autism, and high-masking experiences, as they reconnect with themselves and move beyond survival mode. She sees therapy not as a way to change who you are, but as a way to help you stop abandoning yourself in order to get by, so you can reconnect with the person you have always been.
Her approach blends mindfulness-based therapy, somatic practices, and holistic counseling, offering care that is both evidence-based and attuned to the whole person: mind, body, nervous system, and the beliefs and values that give your life meaning.
Many of the people Artemis works with are deeply thoughtful, emotionally intuitive, and resilient. From the outside, they often look like they have it all together. On the inside, they may be carrying anxiety, chronic overwhelm, or the invisible labor of masking in a world that was not built for the way their brains work.
Artemis has a particular focus on helping people work with anger and the complex emotions that often sit beneath it. From a neurodivergent perspective, anger is rarely just anger. It can reflect grief, sensory or nervous system overwhelm, chronic invalidation, or the exhaustion of adapting to environments that asked you to hide parts of yourself. Rather than treating anger as something to suppress, Artemis reads it as meaningful information, an opening to understand your needs, boundaries, and experience with more curiosity and compassion.
Many of the people she works with are also existentially curious, exploring questions of identity, purpose, and what it means to live authentically. Artemis welcomes those conversations with openness and respect while keeping the work grounded in ethical, evidence-based care.
Her style is warm, collaborative, and gently humorous. She believes therapy should be a place where you do not have to perform, mask, or explain yourself before you can begin.
Artemis provides therapy as an intern under the clinical supervision of Jamie L. Jones. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside people as they build self-understanding, self-trust, and lives that feel more authentic, connected, and aligned with who they are.
