Discover the heart of Juniper Blu Collective through our team of dedicated mental health professionals. From experienced therapists to specialized care providers, we’re here to support you with thoughtful, individualized care.

Many of the people we work with are carrying a lot internally, even if it’s not always visible. Our goal is to help you better understand what you’re going through and create meaningful, lasting change.

Why Juniper Blu?

Like the timeless Juniper tree, known for its resilience and ability to offer shelter, Juniper Blu Collective was created to provide a steady, supportive space for those navigating mental health challenges.

While our roots are in eating disorder care, our work has grown to support individuals moving through a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.

At Juniper Blu Collective, we understand that not all struggles are visible.

Many of the people we work with are carrying a lot internally, whether that shows up in their relationship with food, persistent anxiety, past experiences that still feel present, or a sense of feeling stuck.

Our approach is collaborative and tailored to you. When helpful, we coordinate with other providers to ensure you’re supported from every angle.

Our goal is to help you better understand what you’re going through and create meaningful, lasting change.

Our Approach

""

We don’t believe therapy should feel rigid or one-size-fits-all.

In our experience, meaningful change doesn’t come from following a perfect plan. It comes from building a relationship where you feel understood, challenged in the right ways, and supported as you grow.

Our work is collaborative and tailored to you. We integrate evidence-based approaches such as DBT, trauma-informed therapy, relational work, and art therapy when appropriate.

But more importantly, we focus on what actually works for you.

Questions You Might Have Before Getting Started

Juniper Blu Collective was founded by Jamie L. Jones, a psychotherapist, licensed professional counselor, and clinical art therapist based in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with over 17 years of experience in the Washington, DC area. Jamie founded the practice with a focus on eating disorder and self-harm support, and has grown it into a multi-therapist telehealth collective.

Juniper Blu Collective is located in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and provides virtual therapy across Maryland, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania

At Juniper Blu Collective, we take a deeply individualized approach to therapy. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method, we focus on understanding your unique experiences, identity, and needs.

Many of our clients come to us after feeling unseen or misunderstood elsewhere. Our goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely supported, challenged when needed, and able to make meaningful, lasting changes.

We offer a range of therapy services, including individual psychotherapy, individual art therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, group therapy, trauma therapy, neurodivergence-affirming therapy, and eating disorder therapy. All services are available virtually through secure telehealth sessions for clients across Maryland, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania.

Yes. All Juniper Blu Collective therapists are fully licensed mental health professionals, including LCSWs, LCPCs, and other credentialed clinicians. Many hold advanced specializations in eating disorders, trauma-informed care, and art therapy.

Finding the right therapist often starts with identifying someone who understands the specific challenges you’re facing. At Juniper Blu Collective, our licensed therapists provide online mental health therapy for individuals across Maryland, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania, with specialized experience supporting people navigating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. If you’re unsure where to begin, our team can help guide you toward the therapist who may be the best fit for your needs.

We work with adolescents and adults navigating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, OCD, chronic illness, and life transitions.

Many of our clients are high-functioning individuals who feel overwhelmed internally, even if things look “fine” on the outside.

We encourage you to review our therapist profiles on our website to learn about their expertise and approach. You can also schedule a consultation to discuss your needs with our staff.

No, you don’t need a formal diagnosis.

Many people start therapy simply because something feels off, overwhelming, or hard to manage. We can help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and determine what kind of support would be most helpful.

That’s more common than you might think.

A lot of people come to us after past therapy experiences that didn’t feel helpful or didn’t quite “click.” Often, it comes down to finding the right fit and the right approach. We take the time to understand what didn’t work before so we can do things differently.

That’s completely okay, most of our patients felt nervous before their first session too. We’ll take it at your pace, answer every question you have, and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.

We understand that building a therapeutic relationship takes time and you may feel like one of our therapists isn’t the right fit. If you’re not satisfied with your therapist, please speak with your therapist or our office about being placed with a different clinician to assess goodness of fit.
